In early 2026, ConocoPhillips Alaska and the University of Alaska (UA) launched the ConocoPhillips Alaska Process Technology Support Fund, aimed at developing and securing the future of Alaska’s oil and gas workforce. Anchored by a $400,000 gift from ConocoPhillips Alaska to benefit UA’s process technology programs in Fairbanks and on the Kenai Peninsula, this contribution expands early exposure for high school students, modernizes hands-on training and creates clearer pathways from the classroom to good-paying, in-demand careers in Alaska. In addition to support for the program, ConocoPhillips Alaska awarded four $15,000 scholarships for Alaskans to pursue degrees in process tech beginning in the fall of 2027.
