Ed Connelly
Vice President, North Slope Operations
Ed Connelly is vice president, North Slope Operations, ConocoPhillips Alaska. He leads the Operations, Wells, and Supply Chain organizations for the Alaska Business Unit.
Ed began his career with ConocoPhillips in 2006. He has worked in a variety of roles including production, operations, and leadership positions in Calgary.
In 2009, Ed transferred to Brisbane as operations manager, where he led the development and maturity of the APLNG production assets in a joint venture secondee role with Origin.
Ed returned to Calgary in May 2013, where he became vice president of Oil Sands Operations.
In 2017, Ed Connelly became the general manager, Global Production for ConocoPhillips where he had global accountability for the Operations, Production, Surface Engineering Functions and Talent Management Team.
He assumed his current position in November 2022.
Ed earned a petroleum engineering technology diploma from NAIT in 1992 and has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
