Ben A. Stevens is vice president, external affairs & transportation, ConocoPhillips Alaska. 

A lifelong Alaska resident, Ben has had a strong career in Alaska politics, public policy, and marine transportation. Ben received his B.A. in economics at Arizona State University and earned his Master of Business Administration from George Washington University. Upon completing his degree, Ben returned to Alaska and worked in the commercial fishing industry and eventually managed his own consulting firm.

In August of 2001, Ben was appointed to the Alaska State Senate by then-Governor Tony Knowles and went on to serve as Alaska Senate Majority Leader and Senate President. He then went on to manage an Alaska-based fuel transportation company for Saltchuk, and in January 2017, was named president of Cook Inlet Tug and Barge, Inc.

Ben most recently served as chief of staff to Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy.
